Welcome to Walker Miniature Goats!

We raise miniature La Mancha dairy goats in the beautiful Mann Creek valley near Weiser, Idaho.
Just over a month ago, our newest additions arrived in the heat of summer.  They have elf ears thanks to their Nigerian father, Sylvester, pictured at the left.  They are simply too quick for pictures!

Miniature dairy goats are the result of crossing standard dairy breeds with the Nigerian Dwarf.  This results in a goat that is smaller and easier to handle.   They are great for anyone who wants their own dairy animals for milk and/or cheese.  Minis require half of what a standard goat eats  and produce about 2/3 the amount of milk.  Not to mention, Miniature La Manchas are very cute.  La Manchas are the only breed of dairy goat that has been developed in the United States, so they are also a great patriotic choice, as well.
